Larry Gardner - Mandolin. "I Grew up in the Washington DC area in the 60's & 70's and was attracted to playing music when the Beatles hit the USA. Bought my first guitar and followed the "British Invasion" until hearing the Seldom Scene and Doc & Merle Watson in the early 70's. After a ten year period of playing Country Rock part time started playing mandolin in the late 80's and
consider it my main instrument now. Some notable influences are David Grisman & Sam Bush to Eric Clapton."
"Playing music has always been a hobby of sorts and being a Professional Land Surveyor has kept bread on the table. Being able to play music with
these talented young musicians has been fun and keeps me feeling young."
If we want to know something about music, we ask Larry. He knows who did it, who with, and when. His knowledge is incredible to say the least . A talented and highly skilled musician.
